Privacy Policy for Donors
All the activities of Ekal Vidyalaya
Foundation of India are supported by donations received
from our benevolent donors in India and abroad. We are
registered under FCRA to receive foreign donations.
With the support of our benevolent donors, we have been
able to maintain a steady growth in promoting one-teacher
schools and other developmental projects for the welfare
and upliftment of villagers and tribals.
Immediately on receipt of donations, a receipt is issued
to the donor along with a certificate for exemption
in Tax.
Schools are allotted to the donors and complete information
regarding the allotted School is updated in the website
also. The donors are given user ID number to enable
them to visit the website to see full details of their
Schools.
The donors are encouraged to visit their schools periodically
which is termed as ‘Van Yatra’. Such visits
are arranged by Ekal Central office at regular intervals.
In India, corporate sectors are approached to invoke
their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to sponsor
schools.
The Break-up of expenditure for one Ekal Vidyalaya is
as under:
Exp. On running of School Rs.11,000/-
Exp. On Health Education Rs.5,000/-
Total Rs.16,000/- Per Anum
